To my fan (singular, since I’m sure there can’t be more than one of you in the continental US), the family and I are back in the states indefinitely, so I thought I’d better put up an event page.
It seems like “real authors” all have event pages where they list events, conferences, and author signings they’ll be attending … ’cause, you know, readers like to meet writers on occasion. To get an autograph, ask questions, or do the public at large a service by driving authors back into writerly-seclusion with pitchforks and fiery torches.
Since I’m in the states and I technically qualify as a real author, I figured I’d make an event page of my own.
As you can see, I don’t have any events schedule, because (A) the idea of attending a writerly convention is terrifying, (B) any organization that would have me as an attendee is probably one that’s better avoided, and (C) I’m not a huge fan of pitchforks or torches. Still, my fan—yeah, I’m looking at you creepy Carl—might want an autograph. If you, like creepy Carl, fall into that category, then shoot me an email and I’ll figure out a way to get you a book with the ol’ John Handcock on it.
Or, if you’re in the Denver/Metro Area (Colorado), you can just stop by and see me. We can grab a cup of Joe or something. Seriously. Just email me.
And, if I ever book an actual event I’ll update the page … Heck, I’ll probably commemorate with a blog post.
I’ll be at Denver Starfest—April 21-23, 2017 at the Marriott and Hilton DTC Convention Hotels—selling books, signing books, and doing some awesome panels including: Brainstorming and Unblocking, Cyberpunk VS the SOA Genre, Politics, Religion and the Military – Worldbuilding Blocks, and Supporting Casts and Creatures. It’s gonna be a rocking, nerdtastic good time, so if you’re in the area please stop on by and see me.
